Terms and conditions
Deposit payable within 24 hours of ordering to secure the booking, after this time the date cannot be held and may be cancelled. Non-refundable. Where the date of collection/delivery is more than 12 months from invoice date prices could increase due to inflation. We will do our best to limit this.
Balance due on or before collection/delivery date. Orders cancelled within 48 hours of collection/delivery date will be charged in full. Wedding cakes require £100 deposit, balance payable 30 days before your event. Wedding cakes cancelled within 90 days of the event date will be charged at 50% or more if other costs have been incurred. Payment by PayPal will incur a 3% surcharge.
It is the customer's responsibility to check order confirmation details for errors and correct at the time of ordering. Eg. names, ages, flavours, colours, dietary requirements, allergens.
Pictures supplied by clients or us will be used for reference only and NOT copied exactly. Pictures taken of your finished cake may be used in promotional material to advertise at a later date. Biscuit-based chocolates are always placed on the day of collecting but will soften when exposed to air.
Flowers supplied by the customer MUST be already arranged and cake-safe taped (stems no wider than 10mm total) ready to insert. We reserve the right to omit flowers if not supplied correctly.
Please note for vegan and made without gluten bakes, whilst every care is taken and separate utensils and ingredients are used, cross-contamination cannot be guaranteed. Our kitchen handles all allergens. We do NOT offer nut-free bakes.
No responsibility for damages will be taken once goods have left our premises. Follow transport and storage instructions. Carry level in the boot or passenger footwell. Do NOT transport on the car seat. Store in a cool dry place preferably below 18 degrees. Cakes stored in a warm environment can melt. Cakes and models may contain internal supports.
